The short version: your data belongs to you and your club. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell it, players only see their own data, parents control minors' data, and you can delete your account — and everything in it — yourself, any time.

Only to provide the service: running your club inside the app, showing each user exactly the data they're allowed to see, and improving reliability. If you use the AI scouting features, the scouting notes you wrote are processed by our AI provider to generate your summary — nothing else is sent, and it is not used to train AI models.
Clutch is built for youth sport, so this matters to us. Players under 16 cannot activate their own account until a parent or guardian joins via their own invitation and gives consent. Parents can review what is tracked, switch categories of tracking on or off, and withdraw consent — in which case the club must remove the child's data. Coaches confirm at signup that they have appropriate consent to record their players' data.
Data is stored in the European Union (AWS, Stockholm region) with our database provider Supabase. Our website and app are delivered by Vercel. Email is provided by GoDaddy. AI features are provided by Anthropic. Each of these processors only receives what is necessary for their function.
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is enforced at the database level per user and per role. The database is backed up nightly. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your club's data like it's our own team's.
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed immediately from the live database; encrypted backups age out within 30 days.
If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
